My phazer has been hard to start recently , To me it seems like water in the gas But ive put in a few bottles of gas line antifreeze to see if it'll clear it up but no go . (Gonna drain the gas tomorrow) when i try it start it , she will catch for .2 of a second ,die, catch, die , Untill i give it gas untill it do start , then it sounds like it runs on one cylinder for about 5 seconds then cuts into two . If i leave it running for a while it will cut out after a while . Sled has 7000 kms Could the plugs need changing or bad fuel pump ? also when she acts up it reads real lean on my o2 gauge , any help guys?

Seems like 90% of people's starting problems end up being plugs.
Start there, they are cheap.

Im gonna drain the gas , put it in a clear container and let it set , if i get water forming at the bottom its a water problem , if no signs of water . Im going straight at the plugs . Thanks guys , will report back

IF you filled up last with regular or mid grade it'll have ethanol in it. Chances are VERY good if you let it sit for more than 2-3 weeks it'll have water in the bottom of the tank. Ethanol in fuel is definately posing a problem across the board. Vehicles, sleds, quads, ect ect. 1st hand experiance and i've tested it sitting open. Lots of people will soon realize that this is seriously going to pose some threats to our gasoline powered equiptment. Never mind that service station out in the boonies that only get's fuel delivered once and awhile.
I even notice in my Ranger i've started to have problems. Had it into Ford yesterday getting it scanned and nothing. Checked out 100%. Meanwhile (filled up the nite before because this is always when the issue happens) I have stumbles in the motor when doing hwy speeds. Out of the blue, it's random. But always when i'm up to speed and cruising........
@ 7000kms your close to the service life of the plugs as well.

Nothing but Shell premium for me since my no-start-bad-plugs early this season.

I've gotten into the habbit of changing my plugs every season, seams like start of season even with new gas mine is hard to start, swap the plugs out and i'm good to go. I've also never ran less then 91 octane gas through my motor. no ethanol mixes in gas in the winter here either, freezes too fast and we get a lot of days in a year that sit well below -40 C.

That's close to my symptoms but I get full power over 3000rpms. Backfire on decel. I'm thinking your issue without codes is probably spark plugs. But i'm Totallyamaha green with troubleshooting.

code 30 is an drop in oil pressure ? Does the phazer motor retard its self in order to prevent damage ?

Sorry yzman, I've corrected my thread. It was actually a code 13.
