if so any info on what turbo to use, i have made them work on cars with no problem, i would just like one you dont need to put oil lines to so anyone out there with info or parts i appreciate it, onelowsonoma2@yahoo.com

What sled are we talking about??

I'm working on a rear mount turbo kit as we speak for my 2004 RX Warrior. I know its been done before by many companies, keeping this one clean without cutting up this sled though. Just a nice bolt on setup for 12-15 pounds of boost on VP fuel w/ Garrett/Tial Hybrid GT30 setup, large charge tube configuration. Should be fun for ripping around the lake and trail.

If your keeping it simple for trail/lake riding I would go with a GT2860RS or GT25R with .63 A/R exhaust housing. Works for many!

Good luck.

Whats your reason for saying no to a rear mount carb setup? I realize your RB3 EFI setup will give timing control and easier fuel control which is going to help, buts what your reason for saying no to a "carbed rear mount" seen many great running rear mounts on RX-1's. Just courious...

I wouldn't build it with carb sled. Apex rear mount we have just tested today with GT2860 rs
Rapid Bike EFI and timing control wakes them rear mounts up !

When is PL going to realse some info and pictures of the rear mount setup you guys are working on for the Apex. Will this be a kit or is it just a custom setup?

I would guess it's to do with the lag and the lack of ability to remove it with timing on the older carb sleds.

Rx1M5

I've made several, but if Dave has something in the oven I'd wait for it. Even if you want to make your own, there's probably things he's build that will save you time/$.

i havent taken my sled apart yet do to snow lol but am trying to gather pieces to do it,so any pieces or pics i would be interested in seeing i appreciate the info
