Believe me it is much cheaper to just buy an existing kit, the R&D that goes in to a kit is mind boggling.
Plus, the kit is cheaper than a new motor.
The season is too short.
Ted.

Listen to Ted. I've built kits before, no way you will do it cheaper and it will consume the rest of your winter.

Better listen to Ted and Lakercr, if there's any way you can afford a good quality kit and get it installed right you'll be a lot better off. Winters are too short to be tearing engines down and working on this and that to get things to work right, Ken.

Building your own kit
I have had a few guys try to build there own but some have been expensive and asked me how to get everything worked out right so you have trouble free riding.
Better to go riding and not buying a new motor!

If you can't afford the kit, you can't afford to build your own. I'm not suggesting that you can't, just that rolling your own is not a cost saving endevour.
Buying a kit from Eric, Dave or Jeff and you are riding the product of their years of experience, testing, and lessons learned. Building your own kit and you riding the product of your years of experience, testing, and lessons learned...

Whose kits do you recommend? Any web sites I can see for these builders? Also which ones are mid mount and which are rear mount and which do you all prefer. I know with cars or truck I prefer my turbo as close to the motor as possible.
Thanks
Thanks

Just my 2 cents but I like my front mount CPR turbo
Front mounts:
Simons CPR (i have this)
Powderlights
Rear Mounts
MCX
Full power performance( used to be bender)
these are the top ones I can think of.
just do a search on the web and you can get all the info you need to make a desicion.
also look through here on the turbo section more info here then anywhere else, plus the guys you will buy a kit from are on this site for help.
