Has anyone studded a 2012 venture GT??????

Called my dealer to order some tunnel protectors for my wife's Venture Gt and was told Yamaha has none for it and it is not recommended to stud it
So has anyone done it? If so what did you use? Any suggestions?

I have a 2011 and my buddy has a 2009 and they are both studded with tunnel protectors.

I looked at yamaha's accessories on their website and found this for yours

I know it's the canadian site but you can't tell me the dealer can't get these in the US.

The only thing we ended up doing because my buddy had problems was remove the centre set of studs and install a bearing kit on the rear upper shock mount. My buddy had problems where the brackets at the front of the tunnel protectos broke and ended up having a stud eat through his front heat exchanger. Yamaha recommended the bearing kit.
