Just curious if anybody has tried these TPI valves, and any feedback that you might have would be appreciated
"BOB"..I had them on my VIPER. My brother didn't have them on his and we couldnt see much difference. I dont know how ther would work on a 4-stroke. Im going to install the ECP kit on my new RX-1...Gary.

I don't think its a good idea on RX1. These machines are very sensitive to the balance between the airbox and the slide springs, so modifying the airbox requires a spring change. If I have the right product in mind, its the one that allows you to variably control the opening to the airbox - which would mess with the operation of the spring. My opinion is that you really don't need airbox modifications, BUT, if you want to.... go all the way - nothing half-

I know a person running TPI,s in the stock airbox. He had to go up about 4 sizes on the mains but they work fine.

Going up 4 sizes is like 4 full sizes not the usual 1/2 size. They also don,t work nearly as well as the ECP,s!

How many jet sizes do you go up with the ECP'S ?

Well, I suggest either staying stock, or using the ECP kit with evac. I'm staying stock myself and prefer to make the changes where they really count - clutching and traction.

Note that with the lowered vacuum, less gas will be drawn through the jet per its size, hence the increased jet size. It shouldn't have any significant effect on fuel consumption.
