I know of some isues some of us have like hoods rubbing and cracking, seat covers rubbing on tunnel rivits, and with mine the two upper and lower left side jack shaft bearings. Is there any more concerns?

I don't know if Yamaha has coverd any of the hoods because of the screw heads wearing them but on the new sleds (04) there is a small rubber bumper (looks like a stoper for a test tube).

Be sure to check your heat sheild. I recently checked mine and it was cracked in near the rear of the sheild where the last rivot is located. Ran stock track with no studs but still ended up cracking the heat sheild. I've heard this being warrantied and am awaiting notification from my dealer.
They also told me Yamaha is aware of the hood issue and do have a fix free of charge but they are still waiting on the parts to come it. Heck, I'm still waiting on my heater hose I ordered this past Feb to come in! :shock:
