hey does anyone know who the new snox riders are that were announced at haydays for yamaha aswell as the results snowbarons havent posted anything yet was hoping one of you were there

thanks

I think the Apex won its class the 600 multi and the Nytro was 3rd in its class not completely sure.

I had a chance to talk to the new racers they are pretty pumped. They have both tested the Nytro already.

Steve Taylor is racing PRO he was 8th in points and won one race for Morgan Racing in 06. Last season he focused on racing Motocross and was the Yamaha development rider. He said he has a ton of laps on the Nytro and that even a stocker isfun on the track. Last year they raced basically a stock Nytro trail sled prototype they had the winning sled from last year on display. Steve said ther is a ton of potential and with the testing this spring they have made some more improvements and will have a very competitive mod version this year. Taylor is not very big but he said he has a top notch personal trainer through Yamaha and his core strength is really improving and with the 4-stroke torque the Nytro is easy to ride and the steering is now much lighter. He felt confident that he could grab sonme holeshots and turn in some good results.

I got to talk to Corey Davis the other race just a little bit he is 19 and from Alaska. He won the semi pro championship last year and has one more year of eligibility so he will race Semi Pro again this year and he should be a strong contender for a win every weekend and for another championship. This kid looked strong and his dad won the iron dog so racing is in his blood. I talked to one of the Yamaha testing guys and he said that when Corey first rode the sled he looked incredibly natural right away and was doing thngs on it that were amazing. Corey races a 4-stroke MX bike so the transition was easy I guess. I think he could be a great future talent for Yamaha.

I had a chance to talk to the corss country racers as well. It sounds like ter will be a lot more guys racing Nytros in Cross Country this year.

Had a great time and it was worth the drive since I have family in the area.

Might want to check cosdra.com also. The results aren't posted there yet either, but could show up there before the haydays website.
