I always pay for a two-day pass to get into Haydays because I always attend both days. While standing at the ticket counter the people in front of me complained that they had to pay for a two day pass, $30, on Saturday even though they were only attending on Saturday. The ticket salesman behind the counter said that anyone entering on Saturday had to pay the full two-day price and that they would only honor the one-day price, $15, on Sunday. They have never done this before and I am wondering why the change?

they prepurchased too many sunday tickets and had to sell them.

Well right is right and wrong is wrong.
It's real easy to fix, but as usual people cry but do nothing, from this day forward every snowmobile lover should e-mail (contact) every sponsor and HAYDAYS officer and let them feel like maybe 50% will not show up next year.
BUT THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN,
I will never pay for 2 day price if I can only go for 1 day, SO NO MORE WHINEING UNLESS YOU VOTE.

I agree it's high but we lost the Minneapolis show due to the lack of attendance and really $30 bucks for all that hoopla! Also I bought an HID kit from Rockmeister saving $45.00 and a a ROX 6" to 8.25" speed riser with the speed wrench levers for $65 less than have found anywhere else. So If you are there to buy you can more than make up the ticket and parking price.

My buddy went on Sunday and was looking for a 120 for his son. The cheapest was $1,100.00. he called me and asked what I thought. I said why not look for something bigger that he can ride for 3 or 4 years. He bought a beautiful Yamaha 250 enticer for $300 cause the guy did not want to take it back home. The kid is so pumped he asked me how does he join totallyamaha?

Ticket prices were cheep for what you got in return.

better than upping the one day price for sat and sunday to 30 bucks each right if you dont want to pay 30 then just go on sunday???? I have not yet been there but it sounds cheap for what you get to me milwaukee is far less show and still have to pay parking and door price.

We still had to pay for parking.

Plus, a few of us race asphalt on Sunday so we could only be there Saturday.

I personally wrote on their FB page, let them know at the gate and in private message. I received back that they were slow on Sunday so they wanted more to come Sunday. I told them that's not right to hurt the ones who come only Saturday. Myself and others were obligated to be there for our sponsors on Saturday.

They have a Facebook page. You can share your comments there. The SnoBarons definitely read it (they replied to my comments), and vendors probably will read it too.

I did and received private messages back from them.

Well, if the issue is that they want more attendees on Sunday, there are other options besides a ridiculous Saturday price. For example, give a discount on food for Sunday. Or, have a special give away on sunday. Or a different race program. Or free parking. Just do something different on the second day that will really attract people.

The way it is now, it's just a repeat of Saturday. Except, many of the swap vendors left. Because there is low attendance. This is a chicken and egg kind of thing. People don't come on Sunday because vendors leave, and you just have better choices on Saturday. They should require vendors to stay for the ENTIRE show, not just Saturday. So, it's not just about the price. Just lowering the price isn't enough to "convince" more people to come on Sunday.

Rumor has it (yes this is just rumor) that next year they are going to extend Haydays by one day and hold it on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to celebrate 50 years of Haydays. The Snow Barron members I talked to about this denied and confirmed it both with wide eyes and big smiles on their faces.
I don't mind paying $30 to get in whether I am there for one or two days. I was just wondering why the change this year as compared to previous years. They have always offered a one day price on Saturday that I can remember. The deals I got saved me a total of close to $600 vs. buying retail this year alone so in my eyes $30 was cheap especially with all the "visual stimulation" that was there and all the cool new stuff I could talk directly to the vendors about.

When I was at the ticket counter on Sat I heard people complain about the price also. That they could only go Sat and had to pay so much.
