I need to replace my header (CPR). (I have a replacement header - just another used CPR) What header gaskets are you using? Anything special? Is there any special procedure I should follow when replacing the header? New bolts? Special bolts? Tightening procedure?? etc....
Thanks Tony

Gasket needs to fit the type of exhaust inlet your turbo has. What turbo do you have, check with the manufacturers web site for specs. If the bolts are rusted or threads are damaged I would change them out with new bolts, the nuts and nordlock washers as well.

You can reuse the stock stainless manifold gasket, as long as it is in good shape with no defects. As for procedure I started from the outside bolts and moved in towards the center while tightening. I replaced the stock bolts with stainless ones, but you can reuse the stock ones if you have to. I did not use a torque wrench, but if you have one it wouldn't hurt. You can "feel" when it's tight, but going just over the stock ft./pounds wouldn't hurt due to the added weight of the header/turbo.

For my turbo apex I have a set of remflex gaskets everything so it will... not leak!

Thanks for the info.
MulotTurbo - did you use a remflex on the header to turbo connection too?
