ok I pulled the trigger on the new updated housing for my viper and am going to install it shortly, for the bulbs I ordered the BPS Lighting B2 LED Headlight Bulbs Kit w/Clear Arc Beam 100W 16000LM 6000K - 6500K White CSP LED Headlight Conversion for Replace Halogen Bulb Headlights - (2pcs/set) (H4/9003/HB2) I thought they were 100watt but turns out they are just 50 a piece, now that being said why not just use the Vision X VX-Hh4 Superwhite 90/100-Watt Hi/Low Beam H4 Bulb Set they are halogen but will be higher wattages hence brighter light, am I missing anyting? I just want super bright headlights and am sick of the shitty light on this sled. brighter the better........

My guess? The LEDS will be brighter. Put one in each side and compare.

I am not familiar with the brand you are looking at. I can tell you that I did my research and found that the PIAA brand LED was much better than stock. The light from an LED source is not the same as a conventional light source. The way the light is produced and emitted from the lamp really requires a reflector of some kind that is designed for the LED light source. Most times what you will see is a pattern of light very strong and bright in patches or areas and dark in others. This is due to the way Light is Emitted from the Diode, hence the LED. To over-come this affect a manufacturer will design a lens or better yet a reflector to evenly scatter the light giving the appropriate pattern. When buying LEDs there are a lot of options but you really do get what you pay for. I purchased mine from Gary's Yamaha in Caribou ME. If you call them they can ship to you.
