Headlight Problem

Guys:

Odd problem. When I start up my sled, no headlight (hi or low). Let it run about 3 minutes, and voila, headlight. Never flutters after that and is solid.

I know there is a relay for the high/low but not for the headlight. Lights come on when the engine is started.

Sounds relay related somehow, and I am going to check the service manual.

Any quick advice on where to look?

Yes there is a relay for head light. IF you check in the nytro faq section look you will find the location of the relay and the part number. I just ordered mine from port yesterday.

I should have looked at the manual first instead of being lazy.

"Load Control Relay" is the most forward one in the relay 4 pack in the front of the sled.

Guess the good news is its the easiest to get access to.
