I'm looking for a headlite cover for my sons 2007 phazer. or a fix for it. It lost the tabs infront that holds the cover down. Very cheap set up in my opinion.

$32.87 at cyclepartswarehouse.com . They are the cheapest by far I found for OEM parts.
The part number you are looking for is 8GC-77251-00-00

I bought all my idler wheels from them. Half price compared to the local dealer.

For me the junk a$$ rear tabs that press into the rubber grommets both broke off. I just rode it that was last weekend. Im not too inclined to buy another but the light does end up kinda bright. Very interesting in deep snow though. Looks like sparks.

I've got a used one with a few minor scratches on it. Could probably blend them in a bit to be less noticeable. I know new they are $46.95 from Yamaha. Give me $20.00 and I'll ship it to you. If you want pics I can post those as well, however I'm not sure the scratches will photograph well.

A can of Krylon satin black will fix that right up.

what i did was got rubber expanding grommets and stuck them in the rubber and screwed the cover down, works perfect

1 broke on mine. i epoxyed it back on. now i just don't want to take it off but eventually i'll find out if it held up.

I did the same but when I pulled the cover off yesterday the epoxied tab stayed in the the grommet

i should say mine was perfect till i took it to a dealer, i watched them rip it off, not gently, youhave to do it fast as they say,

i epoxied also but then it went to the dealer again, then i fixed it myself,

That's what I was thinking of doing too. More durable and easier to get the damn thing off!

I put zip ties around the little tabs up at the front of the cover, works for me and its on there pretty solid
