Heat sheild ?

Hey guys
Changing the donuts on my 09 xtx for the first time and took the shield off and it looks like most of that white asbestos looking stuff is gone. Should i replace it? With what? The heat shield on the gas tank looked good, thanks, pic attached

Mine was the same guys on here replace it with moose brand heat shield. I did too works good.

Jegs or summit racing has heat shield also , it comes in a bigger sheet and alittle thicker !

The ebay one looks just like the moose stuff I bought. The stuff I got came with way more in the package than I needed (couple of square feet).

just changed a broken flex pipe and noticed the same thing........ does anyone have info on how long these aftermarket ones last
