Bought some heated gloves , would like to know if they could be hooked up to be operated from the heated handlebar control, maybe hooked up in parallel off the wiring going to one of the bar's elements. They draw 1.1 amp each so 2.2 total draw .
The control they sell to go with the gloves is too expensive and cumbursome .

I DO NOT recommend hooking to Grip Warmer circuit. If you do, you will get an error code and most-likely cook the ECU.

You have to go directly to the battery, with a fuse as close to the battery as possible. Use of their control unit is recommended.

The Grip Warmer circuit is monitored by the ECU any change in resistance will cause an error code. Adding these devices to the circuit will change the resistance. Also, excessive current draw (e.g. 2 amps) through this circuit will most-likely burn out the ECU's grip warmer controls. On these sleds adding a two amp load is a lot.
