I thought I remember last year that someone was going to work on a control for the heated seat.
I don't have one, but my buddies with a winder and a thundercat say the seat gets way too hot

If it gets too hot it's because you probably don't need to have it on !I thought I remember last year that someone was going to work on a control for the heated seat.

I only use mine when it's quite cold out and it stays on low, perfect ! Don't see any issues with it at all.

I agree the seat is very hot. Burning hot even on low. Yes call me a wimp. But a heated seat can help you ride in comfort longer. I even have one on my dirt bike. When the rear is getting sore during an all day ride. It helps me ride longer.
I have wondered if we could add another resister in line with the original in the switch, or even add a rheostat to give the ultimate control. I would think we could just add this on the high setting so you wouldn't have to do a-lot of modifying.
What do people think? Please don't dis my liking a warm butt. I do know I am a wimp, But I can still do a 250 mile day.

I’m sorry yours is not hot - I put a rocky mountain one on my wife’s vector when I upgraded her seat to a seat concepts seat. It seams to be good and it is cheap. This is the same one I put on my motor cycle.
I ordered a rheostat today I’m going to add it after the switch so it won’t effect any thing and the switch can still turn it off. I’ll let you know if it works.
