Are the resistor values in your switch diagram the new values?

If so, do these now make what the factory low felt like the new high setting, then low is more like a normal low that you can leave on?
(I agree, the factory low was way to hot, and couldn’t even use the high setting!)

Also, where did you get the new switch?

Yes, those are the new resistor values.
It does feel like a normal low, especially on long steady pulls with a constant rpm.

I used 1 watt resistors. I don't know if the physical dimensions have anything to do with it but the OEM resistors are a 1/3 of the size. I got the switches from rockerswitchpros.com.
