I am looking to add heat to my seat, I am looking for a cheeper method than a kit. I need a ohm reading on a sidewinder with a heated seat on the heat element only. I have the readings on the factory switch already. Any other info is welcome. ( the kits I see are for vipers for 300$)

Seen some kits on ebay for a lot less

Is there any resistance in the original heated switch, if yes do have have the value?
Thank

From Service Manual:
Testing Seat Heater
Switches
NOTE: The seat heater elements cannot be tested.

The reason they say the seat element cant’ be tested is that the heater controller is in the seat and does not have a connector that would allow easy access to the element wires. The sled feeds power, ground, and a reference voltage from the switch to that controller through the connector you unplug when you remove the seat.
