Is there a fuse somewhere in the heated seat circuit? All my fuses are good but the seat won't heat. Yes it is plugged in. I traced the wiring harness but can't find a fuse. If anyone knows where the fuse is please let me know.

It's probably your element. Just had to replace mine. If you have another sled even a cat with a heated seat that you know works, try it on your to verify its the seat. That's what I did.

I'm in Quebec -17 f. Can't check anything till I get home

Looks like seat heater fuse is tied into hand warmers

Ok thanks. The hand warmers work fine. To the dealer when I get home

Most likely broken wire. See pic. Note broken red wire.

Don’t waste your time using a OEM replacement. Get the heat demon! Trust me
I have been complaining about the seat heater working inconsistently for 3 years , and now that my warranty is over , it is definitely not working !!!!

Yup. Sad thing is it will happen again in time. It's another p&ss poor design by Cat. The wires flex right near the connection to the chip as you ride and eventually they break. The wires need to be supported up near where we sit and the flex should occur lower down in the foam where they could use wire made for flexing and not break. Check out the pics. This is how you prevent it from happening again. I made a plastic curved form to support the wires up near the chip on the pad. The form guides the wires down into the seat foam where I then changed the OE lead wire (cheap brittle stuff that breaks after too many flexes) to special wire made for flexing millions of times without breaking - problem solved. And, I took just a little foam out of where the plastic support is so you can't feel it when you sit, and can't see it from looking at the seat cover. It should last "forever." It's another item to add to the long list of stuff that is poorly engineered on this sled that needs to be re-engineered and fixed so it will work and last.

Can you advise where you got the wire? What's is it called or brand name?
Thanks!
