Yes. 3 black wires are ground. Pic below shows 5 wires. Notice multiple breaks in wires. Oem choice of wire is nfg. They use a wire that's stiff and does bend easily. Can you imagine how hard that wire is at 0 degF? I replace those wires with a super flexible silicone insulated wire. The wire I use has hundreds of conductors (instead of only about 20) very very small in diameter in addition to the silicone insulation. When I put it in my hone freezer, after a few hours, it's still as flexible as it was at room temp. Oem wire is just plain terrible for cold-weather.
