I just got a heated shield for my CKX helmet but the wires are the same color and not labeled pos or neg. Does it matter how I hook it up? Thanks

I do not think it matters but they are all differnt.Hopefully some one that knows for more than me will help.Ask the dealer that you bought it from there are so many differnt ones.The one I have was marked and bolted right to the battery

It doesn't matter, but generally ground will be the shield (outside) and +12 will be the center of the RCA connector.
