I have tryed some difrent settups but the topend is the probelm,
with silver sec at 80 it´s slipping on sec and dont rev more then 10000
gear down to 1.61 1.25 camotrack. with 50-38 helix stock secspring at 50
it revs 10500 and 10200 at top speed 183km/h not that good.
Going to try sec at 90 but wat is best stock at 50 or siver at 90 or up?

More Weight!
Try adding more weight to the tip and wind your secondary to 90. 1 gram of weight is equal to 200-300 rpms I believe.

If it is loosing RPM at top end you have to remove weight from the tip.
If the belt is slipping at top end, 1) you have to go to lower helix number or 2) you have to add side pressure via a higher rate spring.
I would try and stay around 60 to 70 degrees twist.
Try and pile all your weight on the low end and go lighter toward the top end.
Shoot for 9800 out of the hole and climb to 10500 at top end.
A good starting point might be, big and small allen in heel, 7/16 bolt with thin washer in middle, and 3/8 steel bolt in tip.

Which sled is this on? What primary spring are you using and how are the hitters setup? What secondary are you using?

03 Rx-1 i have stock spring in prim and have tryed silver and pink in sec
stock reckomendation from HH 7/16 with thick washer in both and longest
allen in heel, both 50-38 and stock helix slipping with silver sat at 80.
whith pink secspring sat at 50 no slipping but i´m thinking it´s killing my

Anyone got agood setup to shear pleeeees!
mrtwostoke, I've had great luck with the Hauck-Red Snowcross sping. The degsettings are not the same as a stock yami spring. I use this spring in all of my race setups and have seen some excellent gains from it. The spring is about $20-US. Degree setting are: 9-1=40; 9-2=50; 9-3=60; 1-0=70; 2-0=80; 3-0=90 you should not need to go higher than 90deg.
My recommendation is to run it at 50deg and load the heck out of the tip of the HH's.
The other issue is clutch alignment. I know this is often an overlooked item.
Hope this helps...

no top end
I am runing heel clickers. I had a bad problem with top end until I found out the spacing between the clutch shafts was about 1/4" too long. I also found out my heel clickers were not all the same weight. I fixed them all to the same weight and dialed them in on the sled. It runs great now. my top end used to be about 105, now it's in the 130's. It is running faster and quicker. I have done nothing to the secondary.

03 RX shorty, 1.25 track, stock gearing with reverse.
I am having a similar problem. I have the Simons CPR stage 1 and 2 kits installed. I have belt slipping at low speeds. I have 3/4 allen in the heel 7/16 steel bolt and thick washer in the middle and 7/16 steel bolt and thick washer in the tip. My secondary spring in the Yamaha silver that came with the stage 1 kit. I have the cpr stage 2 helix in and the recomended twist was 90 but I had slippage so I set the twist to 100 deg. I still have slippage at low speeds. I can get my RPM's up to 10200 easily but it seems to shift up a little slow.
Do I need to add more weight in the heel, middle or tip and if so what do you guys think. I think it would be better to goa back to 90 deg and add some weight someplace but I don't know where.

Drop the twist down to 80 & add 1/4" screw to the heel. You may get a slight initial overev as the track spins then it should come down to about 9800 & climb to 10200-10300 top end.

I´ll alredy got that in HH it´s the sec thats slipping when trying with pink sekspring at 50 it revs and no slipping but the ploblem is it´s killing my toped any ideas TURK?
Wesleeja, what do mean when you say the spacing between the clutch shafts was 1/4 out, that distance on the rx1 is unadjustable
Your secondary should not be slipping with a silver spring at 80 degree wrap. I find that works the best with anything over a 50 degree start angle helix.

My friend and I found out that the front mmotor mounts have a threaded collar that the bolt goes through. I have a shop manual and this is not listed in it. We had our sleds side by side. my friends sleds ran much better than mine so we started to try to find out what was wrong with mine. the motor runs great but the top end was nothing compaired to his or any other sled. he had an srx and when we had the secondary off looking at it for any problems he put a gauge on the primary to the secondary not on the sides but on the middle (middle of the primary to the secondary shaft). it would definitly not fit on mine the slower of the two. we put it on his sled to see how far off his was and it fit perfectly. we looked at the motor mounts and saw mine were exactly opposite of his (the bolt on the clutch side was threaded out so you could see about three threads and the oil tank side almost flush this is mine). we change it to match his and the gauge fit like it fit on his sled. after that and matching all my clutch weights my friend says that my sled is faster than his now. he is adjusting his clutch because after about 1000 miles he is turning about 500 more rpm with his heel clickers. he added about a gram to bring the rpms down to 10200.
