okay i am going post this since might help someone else.
First; tried changing plugs since even with a code 21 it should start. nope
Second; i thought possibily a fuse or relay. nope all checked out ok
Third; maybe ice or moisture in fuel, so drained tank, put fresh fuel with some isoheet and seafoam and tried starting several times during an 8 hour period, no luck either
Fourth; I looked on the clutch side where i had tied off the wire harness by the bottom of motor after hearing on TY4STROKE a few years ago, it still looked good but decided to wiggle the wire harness around on the clutch side of the motor, instantly the code 21 and engine were gone and so i turned the key it started and roared to life immediatly. now which wire

take that plastic off the wires and investigate. it happened to me right where it hit the frame. there wasa cluster of 5 or 6 wires all melted together creating a short. and when the wires would move my sled would dieor not start. we fixed those, wraped em up in electrical tape, and put a peice of hose around th plastic cover to prvent it from happening.

i dont have a nytro, but thanks for updating. I too have been in the garage hoping for help from a forum only to end up figuring out a solution. I know its kinda a pain to stop and update a forum in teh middle of it sometimes. Thanks for helping/sharing!
hope you can narrow it down, or someone who knows will chime in.

Nytro Won't start
Brad,
I had a similar problem last March. My sled would turn over but not fire. I was just wondering if you were getting a code 21 or code 12. Mine came up as a code 12 (crankshaft position sensor). I took in to the dealer and they told me it was not the sensor, but a bad main wiring harness and wanted close to $1000 to replace. I took it home and am about to go thru the harness to try to find a short or something. Just wondering about your code.
Thanks
