help asap engine cut out, stuck in the north

anyone please help, im on a big ride, stuck in the north, my 2005 rx-1 is cuttin out, seems to be when it is hot, acted up most of the afternoon, then fine this evenin. cruising along and it sputters, engine light comes on the tack drops to zero then to maximum, just like when u start it, . then its good to go again, no engine lights, i tried disconnecting the sensor on the carbs, no good, please help

Check your battery cables and connections sounds like it might be a power interuption or a short circuit

good call, i was thinkin the same think but it starts like a champ, but i guess theres more than one ground on the battery.... any other ideas... thanks again

Check for wires shorting at front of engine compartment where they rub on the frame.

What about your T.O.R.S or throttle cable slack maybe check the wiring around the thumb throttle or the pin pivot at the thumb flipper just guessing?

That should start you out on page 7, where he starts posting about gremlins.

i checked under the seat around the nose, under the shroud that covers the tank, found nothing. all connections and wires look good. the battery seems strong, im not sure. i checked tors, seems ok, im gonna by pass it next time it screws up, see what happens.... any other ideas?
