I've been having trouble with my '06 running rich when you plug in the '07 MCX box, nothing else turbo kit connected. I thought I had a bad TPS, it wouldn't read anything through the whole thottle range except for 53. When I unplugged the MCX box it starts at 16 and goes to 95, which is within the parameters PG Yami gave me. So no problem with the TPS apparantly. As soon as I unplug the MCX box it runs perfect.

Has anyone else seen this condition? The box and baro sensor are brand new and the box was tested at PG before I got it.

Hey man have you sent the box to pg yamaha to get tested....or get it tested again for your peice of mind.......I have gone through this it sucks...........can't remember if you did or not......

Sounds like its sending a constant voltage to the injectors to fire.......check for voltage output to using a fluke and hit min/max to see if its dropping out or its staying constant......I am assuming its 12vdc to fire the injectors........when I turn my key on the fuel pumps charge up and then the mcx injectors fire once.....I start the sled and they don't fire again until it starts seeing pressure
(used my calibration pump to simulate boost)........maybe a leaking injector...or its sending a signal to the yamaha injectors(wires crossed).......

Instead of checking voltage pull your intercooler off and see if the mcx injectors are giving fuel with no boost........

I take it you got your hood. Hope your happy with it, it was primo shape.

Nothing hooked up from kit, including intercooler. What is flooding it is when you plug in the MCX box it makes the TPS sensor non variable and sits at 53, essentially half thottle, and doesn't move with thottle position. When you unplug the box it works exactly how it should, 15 at idle an 95 wide open.

I think the wiring harness from Randy might not be the right one. He gets lot of proto stuff and this harness was never installed with this box. I called PG and asked for a pin diagram of the harness. I'm sure that the pins are not in the same order in the plug that they should be. Pretty much all it can be now that I know how it is flooding.

The box was put into the owners sled at PG so I know it is good, as well as a new baro sensor.

Are you near your sled? Can you check the pin.....hell, I'll just call.
