Where do i begin! :o| Sled ran good for the past week. We finally got some decent snow around here in WI so i decided to take it out in a farm field two days ago to really open it up now that i did a few basic upgrades. I Put a fresh tank of gas in it, took it out, and I opened her up on a straight away and after about 10 seconds i started losing RPM's and it started to spudder at full throttle. I turned around to head back and it just kept getting worse. As soon as i would really get on the throttle i got a constant studder. I thought it was starving for fuel at high R's (bad fuel filters? changed them.) No better! i tried TORS override... Not it! The sled idles fine and runs clean up to about 1/4-1/2 throttle and 6,000 RPM. Anymore than that and its not pretty. Any ideas? I cleaned the carbs about a month ago. Maybe it is some garbage gas that i bought? or the damn jets plugged again? New Cr10EK plugs garbage? Any help is appreciated. I'd hate to pull the carbs and all back apart and have the same issues after i put them back in! OH THE JOYS OF TOYS ;):D

You can start by putting the correct plug in, NGK CR9E gapped 0.7-0.8mm 0.028-0.031in. After changing the plugs, make a few wide open throttle runs and check the color of the plug ends to see how the fuel mixture is.

It sounds like the carbs are dirty again, may be something in the tank that keeps clogging up the tiny jets.

CR10's are fine. Sounds like it's running out of fuel. Pull the carbs and make sure you clean the screen under the needle and seat.

Is your airbox on correctly?

Red.. Only difference in the plugs is that the Cr10 has a dual-electrode and runs a little bit higher heat range, but thanks for the input!

I figured it was losing fuel at higher R's, but i will defentiley double check the air box. I hit a few solid bumps from the tilled farm field. Could have knocked it loose. If not, then i'll pull the carbs..again.. Thanks Dok

Pulled the carbs today.. They were all nasty already. My tank must really be full of crap. I will probably have to do a full clean out sometime soon. She runs like it should now! Thanks for the help

Yea of course. They are getting to be a real pain in the a$$! It's my fault not storing it properly. I dumped about a grand into the sled 2 months ago just to have it run top notch and of course it acts up when i finally want to use it. Go figure! Its my last season riding before i take off for the Marine Corps. Praying for snow so i can put on some serious miles this year!
