2005 RX1 popping/backfiring........

Thanks for the reply....... What did you guys do to resolve the issue? Carbs or cable sticking?
We Just back off the throttle for a bit then we hammer back on it.

I have heard about unpluging it, but I am u sure of where the plug is.
 
Hopefully. Now I'll be a little concerned at first when I go for a run, of course. Just tested TORS per the manual and it worked properly. Wouldn't rev above 3k.....

When it happened, the sled backed right down and came to halt. Let it idle for a little bit, then I could take off again. My primary engages at 5k.... Unlike the stock 330o, I believe.....

How can you stand that?
 
Well, it's clutched, piped, jetted, it's just the way it's set up. I'm used to higher rpm engagement. My '96 Polaris Ultra I had before the RX engaged at least 5k............ :)

Bet that must be quite a ride having it kick in at 5k! My old Arctic cat was that high also, made for a fun trail sled but don't ever stop in deep snow.

It CAN be changed without removing the pipe. :)
