I'm trying to order a BTX black and orange seat but online it lists 2 part numbers for the seat assembly. The price difference is about 20 bucks
8KC-F4710-00-00 $229
8KC-F4710-10-00 $199
Wondering if one is for the heated seat option which my LTX SE doesn't have. But if it is for the heated seat option is the wiring already there and just need the switch to add it? Mainly just want to make sure I buy the correct color to match thanks

Box seats are only $200? Is that for the whole seat or just the seat cover?

Whole seat which is a hell of a bargain. Always liked the height and style of the BTX seat over the LTX when I sat on one in the showroom. Got the idea of buying the whole seat from RockerDans post about him swapping to the BTX seat. For 200 bucks can't go wrong and Babbits has the best price and shipping was less than 30 bucks.

I ordered one for my LE in white/red with the heated element exactly like rockerdans. I got a very good price but they are backordered till Feb 8th. I checked with Babbits and a couple other dealers on line to see if anybody has one in stock but no luck. I even had them do a dealer search and nothing is out there. Apparently there are a lot of guys out there who like those seats as much as we do. I was also surprised at how reasonable the price on these seats are. Anything like that from Doo would cost twice as much.Whole seat which is a hell of a bargain. Always liked the height and style of the BTX seat over the LTX when I sat on one in the showroom. The whole seat without the heating element is 218 bucks. the one I ordered with the heating element is 339. the cover only is 162. I would get the whole seat for the extra 50 bucks. The covers are 200 at Babbit the entire seats are more than that from what I see

Is it a yamaha seat or aftermarket? Do you have a part number?
Thanks

Just google Yamaha snowmobile parts and you will find a few dealers and one is Babbits. All the part numbers are there and if you have any questions give them a call. I don't like giving part numbers unless I know for sure what sled its for and what color it is.Is it a yamaha seat or aftermarket? Do you have a part number?
Thanks
