Hi guys,
I've searched through all the posts on this topic and don't see anything recent about NOS. The kits look to be between $600.00 and $700.00 total. Thats not bad for 35 - 60 + HP. My questions are these. Has this been a reliable mod, and in my mind this would be all a guy would need to mop up those few remaining sleds we can't smoke with these beasts, right? I would use it maybe half a dozen times on the lake throughout the winter, and forget about it the rest of the time. So I guess I'd like to hear from you guys who have run it for awhile, and if you've seen any negative results like popped engines. If it's all good, why shouldn't I do this. Looks like a great way to get to 200 HP without a $4000.00 turbo. Talk to me guys!! Thanks!

red2003 - I had a 2003 RX1 with 48 horse kit on it. Used it on asphalt, (Racing thread - 2003,2004 results in this forum), and I love the way the RX1 works with it. I currently am using on asphalt on my 2005 RX1, and also used it all winter. I put on 4,400 miles this year, and went thru 20lbs. of nitrous. My system on the 2005 is Holtzman's 60 horse. Boy does it fly!

nos pro you only went through 3-4 bottles in 4400 miles? that sounds kinda low. not using it that much?

with a 2.5 pound bottle he would have used 8 bottles.
For the most part NOSPRO is a trail rider. He's not out on the lake every week end racing so I believe him

I heard through a dealer that Holtzman is coming out with a new system. Anybody else hear this?

Holtzman is working on something new, and I was there when he told me he was getting the patent on it. Don't ask me, cause I don't even know the just of it. Barry is a super engineer, and finds things that most of us wouldn't even think of. Just that the new system won't use as much nitrous, and will produce the same horsepower.

I used it this winter.I used a Nitrous express kit at 36 horse it worked great no problems.I also tried a NOS kit on a raptor at 25 horse. You cant ride it without going over backwards, guess it will get an extended swingarm then lookout at the dunes.

got a new ignition for the raptor, custom curve and rev limiter. its fun having a 90 horse quad on the bottle!!! makes the trails narrow up a bit. not quite a sled though. keeps me sain though
