06 apex rtx what do I need to do to get ride of sag the spring is adjusted all the way stifff

There is an expected amount of sag in the mono skid.

Did you recently acquire this sled? Do you have the machine on a set of dollies?

Measure the length of the spring with no one seated on sled then measure with you sitting with gear you want between the 2 measurements 40-45 mm's of sag

Well there's nothing I can do to raise the rear up like suspension travel wise

The suspension is designed to be somewhat into its travel with you sitting on it. It will even be into this travel with no one sitting on it.

First measurement is not just without a rider. It has to be measured with no rider and with the rear of the sled elevated so the suspension is completely "unloaded"

I just got it yes last year... no dollys

Do you feel it sags more than it did when you bought it?

Have you looked the skid over for cracked or broken "arm" welds?

Do you feel the ride quality has changed? (a completely blown shock can cause lower ride height and, of course, poor ride)

I'm 270 with gear and sled did bottom out some so I pulled the shock out of my 06 Attak 3 years ago and had the cir-clip moved to max. Rear end now sits much higher with little sag and no more bottom out. Look here for info:

There are 2 different adjustments for the spring. There are the 7 postions on the cam that you can easily see and you can also move the clip to position 1, 2 or 3. See the chart below for the correct postion of each based on your weight. I had the clip moved by someone who had done it before.

I don't understand that chart... there is the adjustment on thesside of the tunnel then there is the adjustment on the bottom of the shock you adjust with the spanner wrench tool... can you explain how this chart works or what I'm missing...

Both of the adjustments the chart refers to is on the shock/spring itself (not on the tunnel). There is a clip that can be moved from position 1 to 2 or 3; 3 compressing the spring the most. The spanner tool fine tunes the clip position with 7 different (cam) settings. Looking at the chart for someone with the stock (S) spring, a rider at 250 lbs should have the clip in position 3 and the spanner (cam) adjustment in position 2. The only way to move the clip, the spring has to be compressed first, it takes special tools to do it, that's why I took the shock/spring out and had a friend do it.

I just adjusted my cam to get the sled #*$&@ end up high. Easy to do with a long large flat tip screw driver and hammer. knock the cam up to the higher detents. The cam is on top of the shock. It makes a big difference.
