This is what I have. 2005 Warrior with filters, springs, jets, velocity rings, evac, and plugs. Sled ran great last season. Started it this year and pilots were dirty. The sled would not idle, ran like crap.
I took carbs off and cleaned them, checked needles (stock setting), pilots to 2 turns out, and synced them. Ran the sled, seemed good.
Now when I start it, it is idling low. Adjustment screw is at limit where idle will come down. If turned any more it will not idle down after acceleration.

The biggest problem is when I choke it; it is like pushing the throttle. The rpm climbs, and if I full choke the clutch will engage and the sled will run about 4000 rpm or more.

Never did this before. Runs good from low idle to wot. Sounds good too.
I have checked the filters on the carb rings, the evac is fine, the vents are good, and all the vacuum lines look good.

Before I pull the carbs off again, maybe someone could think of something else I could check.

Thanks

vacum

this is a vacum leak ether one or more of your tops are not on properly and or are missing the the little o ring that sits in the carb body under the top or the float bowls are not seated on to the carb body properly. there could all so be one of the carb heater wires is pinched between the float bowl and the carb body as well. i have seen all of these problems at one time . :flag:

Thanks John, I have serviced them a few times, and never had problems.
I think I will pull them and start from scratch.
