I'm very excited for this season. Didn't intend to buy a new sled but found a great deal. 2010 Apex from the original owner who kept it indoors and only rode it 1056 miles. She's beautiful, paid $3k.

Awesome looking sled. I can't believe the price you got it for!! It would be one thing if it were beat to hell but it looks pretty sweet from the pics. Now your really chomping at the bit for the trails to open.

Practically new.
Check the lower front shock bushings, they're known for rusting and seizing up.

The 2010 Apex ,IMO, was the best of the non power steering Apex’s built as it had all the upgrades that a lot of us have done to our older Apex’s
-upgrade exhaust donuts
-stainless steel exhaust headers
-upgraded additional exhaust mounts
-better bar warmers as they heat the hooks as well
-heavy duty bullet proof chaincase that’s the same as the 2011 and up Apex’s had
-etc etc

I still smile when I remember getting my 13 xtx with 1000 miles because his wife and he didn’t like it, basically a two stroke Polaris guy who didn’t understand compression braking of a four stroke
I found his sales slip and it was amazing dropped 60% $ in 14 months
I’ve had fun as I put a 15 Anniversary wind shield on and frequently mistaken for the 15.
