I'm assuming b/c his name is "Idahorider" that he rides it in mountains and his set up works for him and he needs no wind shield...... He'd freeze in Northern MN with that sled, but then again, I ride with a shorty windshield myself..... Nice sled and welcome to the site!!!!!!!

thanks guys
Took her on the first real ride of the season up to our regular riding area.
About 4 feet of pow with no base. typical early season stuff.
I was worried how my hood and custom airbox would work and it did better than the stock set up!! It did start to bog with about a foot and a half of snow on the hood, but it would have started bogging way before with the stock set up.
I definetly need to work on a bumper of some kind as it really needs some kind of a glide plate. I could definetly feel it stuffing in and slowing down more than normal when you kinda plow it into small hits. I can definetly feel the weight loss though.
My goal is to shed 100 lbs off her, i figure i'm a little over 70 lbs so far.
A timbersled rear and mpi steering column and battery should be about another 40 lbs to do it. If i only had the cash.
