WoW didnt know you could take it apart...it looked all sealed in there???

Can you tell me how you did it?
 
Like darv said! I took the switch housing off my bars for a little better access. Take the 3 small screws out to access the switch. Remove the small screw on the plate and remove the switch. Push the botton through the rubber grommet and reassemble.

Thx...I thought it was a lost cause
 
I break mine every few rides. Looking at putting a toggle switch on the dashboard. Any other ideas?

Always wondered why they didn't have it wired so that it only stuck out when the high beams were on rather than off. I suppose you could rewire it, your high-beam light would be on when the low beams are off but may be better than nothing.
