I emailed this company called Xtralights asking about HIDs for the Yamaha sleds. They said if "The voltage is from 10 to 12.8V. If you snowmobile takes the bulb types (e.g. H4, 9006) that we offer, then you should be able to use our HID kits." They also said "All HID lights take 35W only." I believe the standard Yamaha headlamps are 50W each, and may even be that type "9006".
I like the idea of HID. HIDs are very bright, and lower wattage.
I would like to find someone that has tried these HID headlamps on a RX-1, or an Attack.
