Highest Speeds on Sidewinder/Thundercat

and Cajones.....
Indeed it does. My best was 136 on my old Modstock turbo 1100. It felt unsafe after 125. Breaking 140 requires really good conditions and cajónes! I kept the stock gearing in my Tcat. Thats about 118-120 at best. I will leave that way. I spend more time drag racing my buddies than speed runs. I leave on yellow and hit the brake throwing my hands up in victory when I see them coming in the mirror. LOL

Hey, practicing to jump a bud consistently is a skill that requires perfect timing. Leave too soon and he'll figure out the scam. Lol.
It helps to leave reckless on the line and veer into their lane. Those two right there will get you the win every time.

Doc, it sounds like we both understand the virtues of old age and treachery. LOL

Every time someone got a new/different sled, guess who got called out?!?! All of us were backyard mechanics that didn't have a clue. Lol. Best of times....

Backyard mechanics are we all !
At least on these new sleds we are not changing jets at zero degrees outside to account for barometric pressure and cold temps. LOL

Curious, what should be an SRX,s expected top speed be with a trail tuned (250 Hp or slightly less) with clutching and with stock muffler and trail studding? A Sleeper. Mid teens, 120’s?

Speedo 120mph +/- on snow. Possibly higher. Just don't want you to get your hopes up.

That’s where I figured, not far off, still getting the setup right. First run on hard pack was gps 110, dreammeter 116

I did 126 GPS with max spool 16 on a 2019 SRX with studs.
Everything else was completely stock except for adding three grams to the stock weights.

all about conditions. But on hardpack or ice 120 should be no problem
