I'm still debating on what exhaust to go with, I like the sound of the ultra q but have read about everyone having them fall apart, I like the sound of the hindle exhaust. I am only looking at getting a slip on since funds are running short after buying this nytro. I like also like the hindle because I could add the header later on if I wanted to, the price on hindles website is 299 then 99 for the adapter, does anyone know where to pick them up cheaper? Thanks

Not likely... They are fairly new on the market. Guys like them alot and hang onto them at least for now.
Just like anything else that is new and in demand.
You could try any sled dealer with a Motovan catalog.
If they like you they might knock off a few percent.

Alright, thanks a lot, what do they mean by hidden? This should last a lot longer then the ultra q?

The hidden version uses the stock plastics...so visually it's looks stock. The muffler should last a long time, provided that you follow their break in procedure..and if the packing ever burns out you can send it back to Hindle to be repacked....but they use a very high quality packing to start with.

Oh alright thats what I'm looking for, and the slip on will fit with the header if I decide to go that way later on down the road?

Well on hindles website it doesn't show many dealers and there's no way to order from there site.

If you google 'hindle blow out' you'll see a list of pipes they are currently clearing out. I picked up a carbon pipe last week, but it was the last one. You'll have to sort out how to mount them though.

It never came with anyway of mounting it to the nytro? Or you just picked one up that was meant for a bike?

He must have ordered one for a bike because the Nytro one comes with everything you need to mount it up.

You can order them thru Hurricane Performance. (Site sponsor)

Yamaha06, Hindle only does direct sales on items they are discontinuing...you can purchase through HURRICANE Or Motovan.

Nytroman20..you should fire up the sled and let it run for 10-15 minutes and then let it cool off..no throttle during this period...it allows the packing set up or pack....it will just last longer if you do this, I assumed it was in the installation instructions...this is what the muffler builder told me to do. You'll know when a mufflers packing is toast buy dark discolouration on the shell, brownish colouring.

Revster is correct, Nytro specific slip ons come with all of the correct mounting brackets/hardware for easy installation.
