In almost bottomless powder I am hitting the rev limiter like crazy. What can I do to back the rpms of a bit and stay in the 10,300-10,500 range. Thanks

It's just popping and it's like I stop accel and that was the difference I was feeling as compared to before when we had the dump of snow. Thats what was different this time when I was telling you. Prob have to take the weights out and add rivets?
The clutching would not have changed by itself. You must be powering through the clutching to start pounding off the limiter. You said you started to run regular and you thought it was running worse. When in fact the sled is now making more hp and you could be driving through the clutching and setting off the limiter. This would seem to make the sled run less efficient when in fact its running better and your clutching cant use the extra hp. Talk to Turk he would be your best bet on how to find your best set up. He nailed mine right off the hop and your seeing the difference it has made.

yeah I will. He suggested I put a new belt on, monitor the rpms and he'll set it up for me from there.

i have an 07 apex se i have the same problem when riding at elevation below 7000 ft above that no problems.so if your mtn is stock your clutching is not set to be riding at those low elevations
