What are u guys using to hold primary when removing and installing to torque without having proper holder?

I use a ratchet strap hooked to clutch and then tied back to running board in the opposite direction of the way your turning.

I used a piece of wood with small wood blocks screwed to it. It is mounted in a large vice and worked slick.What are u guys using to hold primary when removing and installing to torque without having proper holder?

I feel like that would distort running board
What about secondary jackshaft with secondary off. I would assume simiar load when belt pulling?

I guess I do have custom airframe type running boards. But I’m sure you can hook it anywhere back there it’s a Yamaha it’s built tough and heavy. Lol
