Holtzman Nitrous

Any experience out here with the Holtzman Nitrous Kit, they have a part number made especially for the RX1 airbox, supposed to be 45hp. I am contemplating this move, but wanted to get everyone's $.02!

Snake, does this system inject before or after the carbs. I ask this because I have filters on my sled and not the stock airbox.

Can someone also tell me the amount of use you can get from that size bottle and cost for refills? This may be the ticket for me too

A pound of nitrous oxide will be used by the system in about 50 seconds.
2.5 bottel will actually deliver two pounds a total of 100 seconds.

you should get about 60 seconds out of the bottle he has there. So you would get ten, six second runs. Plus if you think about it you don't have to hold in the NOS the whole race. Sometimes when your Running in deeper snowor if you where climbing something it woudl be nice to have a shot of power.

Snake - is that the RX-1 specific kit you have pictured? SledParts.com has a part number just for this, a 45hp kit. I wondered if that is how yours is set up.

I toyed with the idea of NOS last season and was talked out of it. I like the idea of a Turbo but definately don't want to spend the cash for HP I wouldn't always use. In my opinion, there aren't that many times I would really need it. But those times you do it sure would be nice to have a little button to push

holtzman engineering is sending me two 25 hp nozzle's to try out on the k&n fillters
