holtzman question

I have a holtzman kit on my apex gt. I bought the kit used and it came with a 2.5 ice nitrous system bottle. How do i know what way this bottle has to be mounted? I had it mounted with the valve up this weekend and pushed the button for the first time for about 2 seconds. I was watching my a/f guage and it took a second but went from 12.4 to 11.8. It did not increase rpm and i didnt feel any speed increase. I only held it for 2 or so seconds but i should notice something correct? When the sled is running in my garage at idle i tap the button and it does increase rpm so it must be working some what. Any ideas? I was thinking it might be that the bottle might have to be upside down like my boondocker kit

The first 2 seconds it probably sprayed FUEL....as it will take a second to clear out the nitrous line of air!

Open the valve with the bottle not hooked up. If you get liquid spray upright it has a syphon tube in it. If not, turn the bottle over and see if you get spray

So if you have the siphon tube, which way do you mount the bottle? Up or down?

up should be liquid, it will have a tube in it that takes the liquid from the bottom. Standard, the liquid will come out when it is upside down

If it has a tube...it should be mounted as mine is...

Generally, the tube has a bend at the bottom, pointing towards the outlet.

Dont spry at idle it is meant to work at WOT.You could cause some damage.
