Friend did this for free. Do I need to remove any steel to prevent any interference? I made marks on the steel for what I might remove, however, when I put the spring/shock all the way down the spring bottoms out on the cross shaft prior to hitting these 2 braces.

Looks good but there are a lot more areas that need more beefing up

IMO id trim it some. I did my own beef up kit and concentrated on the same areas as you see with the one offered on this site. Even if the spring does not hit, you need good clearance for Ice and debris to pass through.

I did my own beef up kit aswell because shipping it there and back killed the deal, it looks good tho but I'd try and copy the beef up kit that half baked makes since they cover most areas where you might see cracks

The kit is identical to beef up kit. All other areas addressed. I'm just wondering if I need to cut down the piece I've showed in the picture. I think I'll leave it because the spring bottoms out on the cross shaft, however, it obvious its never bottomed as there are no marks on the spring. I think I'm good to go. Getting it powder coated satin black this week.
