2010 RS VECTOR GT LTX STOCK FOR NOW!
I know there will be varying opinions on this but can anyone tell me if the two mesh hood vents on a 2010 LTX have any effect on engine performance or serve any purpose? The reason I'm asking is I want to put some LED driving lights just a different look for daytime running.

They serve to get fresh cool air into the engine bay when moving and to let warm air escape while the sled is sitting.

Kinda what I thought I'm not looking to block them off but the lights I have might disrupt air flow a little do you see a major problem with that? thx

No you should be fine. But don't sue me if/when something happens to the motor due to the timing of the mod! ;)

The sled is so perfect i have nothing esle to do but add lights and a full custom wrap...... while we wait for snow...... love owning the 4 stroke

Oh there's lot's of "bling" and stuff you can add. ;)

But honestly if you are so bored, take your clutches off and disassemble them and clean them. It's amazing where belt dust can get into. Also, grease both clutch side bearings.

Too late that's already been done oil change and entrire grease on the whole sled track tension belt deflection and a bogie wheel check!
