Acted just like the key was shut off. At first I thought I hit the kill switch, but that wasn't it. I searched hi and low, ended up being drug out by a rev...Embarrasing and I'm pissed. I checked the 2 30A fuses on the battery block, they're OK. I have it in the garage but haven't dug into it any further. I would appreciate some info if anyone else has had this problem.
Any other info you can give us? Will it turn over but just not start? Will it not even turn over?

There is no power at at all. It doesn't even run the fuel pump or oil pump when you turn the key on. I know there's power from the battery to the power block where the jumper wire comes off of the battery cable for jump starting. I checked and there's no power at the brown wire where I tied in for the fuel pump for the turbo. I thought maybe the plug came off the ignition switch, but it's OK.
Gramps told me that there were some posts last year about a wire pinching in the steering post and causing this type of problem.
Also check the wires for the CDI and the box up in the nose.

It acts like a fuse burned out, but I checked the two 30 Amp ones on the battery block. Are there others I am missing?
Check your 10amp fuse. They are located above your right foot well. We this has happened to us before. Not sure of the cause, but a new fuse fixed it.

Follow the main wire harness down in front of the battery towards where the CDI and the regulator is hidden. There is a part of the harness that rubs on the bulkhead. There was posts of wires rubbing onto a part of the bulkhead in the past and might be worth checking this spot out for any wires wearing through and getting grounded.

Fuse
TW, I had this problem last year at about 115mph on the lake. Yes there are 4 fuses in a little black box attached to the U channel above the chain case. One of those is blown. A wire from the key switch was chafed and shorted out. It needs to be routed over the bar not under it. BTW the 2 fuses by the battery, only 1 is live, the other is a spare. I'll post the picure to show you the wire.

I found and checked those 4 little fused above the Left foot rest. I moved the wires around when I changed battery locations, pretty sure they're not rubbing in the front.

Check for power at the key switch. Check for power reaching the relay from the key switch. Check the relay. Check the relay power reaching wherever it goes.

Above the left or right foot rest? The 10 amp on the far right is the "Ignition" fuse. I would double check it. Also is it possible that you have a bad battery connection?

I meant the fuses above R foot rest. I have good battery connection, power at the jump start wire. I can't go to the dealer, the turbo voids any warranty, especially when I moved my battery and wires from original location. Besides, I don't trust them.

Treewacker did you check the wires that run up to the handlebars? We had 2 sleds here last year that a power wire got pinched by the stopper on the steering column. The stopper is just below the plastic cowling that wraps around the gas tank. Pull off your handle bar coverand follow the wires down all the way to the stops on the steering column, make sure none of the wires are behind those stops and have been pinched or cut in two.

Treewacker try under the handlebar like snow fever said this happen to my buddys sled but the short was causing it to cut in an out with a huge back fire once in a while definatly sounds like a short.
