Nobody is selling their Vector's and Rage's....Keeping them?

John, because they are so much better than the Rev! Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
My guess is low mileage from the crappy season, the fact that the sled is really good, and you have a lot of happy customers.
I rode Tork's Vector. Nice sled and the handling reminded me of the Viper.

No need to sell. Its a great sled that should last a few years.

Thinking about selling or trading mine. But I do love the vector. It is an over achiever to be sure.

John, I rode Tork's Vector and it is a really nice sled. You can feel the weight difference in the front end. It is sneaky fast and that you think in must be going slower than the RX-1 but in reality you aren't. I still like the low end torque of the RX engines, but the Vector is pretty impressive.
I spoke to guy in Hurley WI that did the same thing as you. He had an 03 RX-1 but wanted to try the Rev. His commented that while he really liked the Rev platform and his 600 Rev HO, he really missed the 4 stroke engine, realiability, and fit & finish of Yamaha.

Keeping mine another year for sure.
Very happy with the Vector so far.
I tend to freshen up the sled every two seasons, so likely a new 07 will be in the cards for me.

still new
Kept my last sled for 5 years, and sometimes miss it still. My Vector is still new to me at 700 miles, so it's not going anywhere soon.

The reason I posted this is because I'd be interested in buying an 05 (Vector -OR- RX1 if the price was right) so that's why I am asking. It doesn't appear that there are alot of Vector/Rage owners on this forum.
How many of you guys are there?

Not sure how close F&S Yamaha would be to you, but they may have a model or two traded in. It would be worth calling them and talking to Andy Sell tell them I sent you.

The Vector is lighter. Set-up right, it will rail the corners. Will stay with the RX1 in the twistys with no problem. RX1 will top end it on long straight sections. You simply cannot beat it as a trail sled. Ride is awsome.
