I had to unhook the hose between the heat exchanger under the right foot rest and the radiator.. I lost quite a bit of coolant. I refilled the bottle, how do I bleed the system to make sure all the air is out???
Thanks...

Lift the back of the sled up and take out the bleed screw.

Sound like you have air pockets in there. First fill the reservior full. then like Apex 06 said, lift the rear of the sled (sled running) and remove the bleed screw. The let it idle until you see coolant just starting to come out of the hole. This may take up to a few minutes, but will most likely be quick. Be careful here as the coolant will be warm or hot and it may splatter/ slpash some. But the key is to quickly put the screw back in once the coolant starts pouring out. The reason you are suddenly seeing coolant after a while is the coolant is forcing the air out. Once the air moved out of the coolers/ gone coolant will displace it. Therefore, once you see the coolant, the air is gone. Woila!
Then once the screw is in, drop the back of the sled and refill the reservior full, if needed. Keep the sled running the whole time if possible. That's how I do it anyways. Then shut her down.
Other guys might do it different, but this way works for me.

Sounds easy enough, Is the bleeder screw right there under the tunnel or do I have to remove parts to get to it??? I've never noticed it before
I think theres a bleed screw in the crossbar that connects the left/right side hoses at the back of the tunnel.

What i did to my phazer was one i took the black cap off the bleed valve i put a clear hose (something like fish tank air tubing) and put the other end back in the coolant reservoir. Ran the sled until the coolant was passing through and i was happy with the constant stream of coolant through the hose. There was a few air pockets that came through even after the coolant came up but i had to completely empty the system. This way there was no mess and i did not loose any.
Make sure that the coolant tank does not run dry it will just pull more air into the system.
