How do you remove painted exhaust covers on apex

How do you remove painted exhaust covers on apex

tried searching, could not find the answer
can surely figure it out myself , but if someone posts , much appreciated

I do not have a service manual

You must first remove the rear trim/ silencer airflow screen under the tail light. Then remove the seat. Once the seat is removed you will see the mounting bolts for the covers.

Take the black exhaust tips off (allen bolts and there is a dummy bolt on each one) then back cover around the tail light off (big phillips only). Loosen the seat j bolts to slightly rise the seat as there are 2 screws under the front part of the plastic covers. hope that explains it as it is not really hard..
