how do you stop your sled to froze with ecp in powder

Go back to my last post and click on the link. You have to take your air screens off and then place the filter material over top of these screens you took off and then reinstall them. They will hold in place with friction due to a tight fit.

i know, but where did you find those materiel, i'm unable to find something that will do the job.

thanks

Oh ok you can use black pantyhose stockings or go to a hardware store and buy the white 3m air filter material for a hammock style filter for your house furnace.

Make sure to ask for hammock style filter material for a house furnace and the store clerk should be able to help you.

I rode all day at Boulder in Revy for two days with no problems after putting the cowling air filters and changing skis. Mind you I still have the stock air box on.

i have to tape the 2 front hood vents shut in deep powder with the filters and prefilters on...got some black duck tape and trimmed it to look like it should be there.
Easy to remove and I keep some wrapped around a small film container if i need more. ;)!
Never had a problem with it overheating yet.

tundra on your evac kit, are you using the catch cant to the little filter by the steering stem, or straight out the case to the filters?

ECP Freeze up

I just ordered an ECP and am hoping that it will be worth it and not freeze up! I did see while thumbing through the new Dennis Kirk catalog that on page 269 you can now buy Outerwears pre-filter material by the sheet from 12"X 12" up to 36" X58". I was thinking of buying some and putting over the vent screens if I have trouble. :yam:
