I have tried everything. This is a 2009 Gt and the seat has never been off. Is there a trick to this because i am about ready to cut it off. I am very frustrated with all Yamaha's junk. They need to simplify there stuff from the Nytro to the Phazer.
10mm bolts on each side of subframe need to be removed then you slide seat back and off it comes.

how could you get any more simple than two bolts. I think the Phazer has the easiest seat to take off than anything I have owned.

It can be a bugger to get off if you don't know that you have to pull it back then up to get around the clip.
Its the only easy thing to remove on these sleds.

The headlight cover is easy too!...and the left side panel...but that's about it.
Hey guys there is always a first time.By now most here know there sleds better than a tech.Sure is hard to find patience with lack of snow but its not the guys fault. At least we have something to talk about!
