When Yamaha says their replacement windshield is 16", where are they measuring from? Thanks

That's a good question on the measurement of the windshield height.
It appears(in my opinion) that the optional mid-height windscreen is close to what comes on the Apex ER and Attack stock. Go from there as to how much higher you would like.
I'm still waiting for the dealer to get some windshields in to see what to go with.

Allow me to clarify my question. Yamaha offers windshields in different heights. Where on the sled are they coming up with the measurement of the shields they are selling. For example the 16" shield is that measured as a straight line up from the dash to the top of the shield? I would think that would be the case. Part numbers, dont know how that answers my question but thanks.
They are measured from the backside of the windsheild down to th dash.
