Looking at a 2008 vector. I have a 2003 viper 136" track machine.
Rode a 2007 artic cat jag ZL 1000. Rear suspension is like a couch. Ride is amazing. Wish i could put that skid in the viper. How does the vector ride? How does it compare to the Apex GT? Looking to up grade to a 4 stroke this year. Can't decide betwen the apex and vector. Do 70% trail 30 % lake running. Please help !

Are you looking at a Vector GT or the LTX, both will give you a different ride. I have an '08 GT that I bought for the trails and have only 100 miles on it. But I find myself riding another, longer tracked sled more often for the deeper snow and for breaking trails. For groomed trail riding, the GT handles great and has a nice ride when "dialed" in. I may even consider selling my GT because of where I ride now.

I DON'T WANT A LONG TRACK AGAIN. DO FAST TRAIL RIDING AND ITS A LOT OF WORK. DID NOT GET A S MUCH DEEP SNOW FOR THE LONGTRACK AS I WAS HOPING FOR. IF I WAS SURE THE RIDE WAS AS NICE AS THE CAT I WOULD BUT ONE TOMMOROW.
